Our client South Sea Cruises wanted us to push the boundaries and digress away from the typical ‘bure’ style of architecture. Through a series of workshops we came up with what can be descibed as a very modern and minimalist approach to the architecture. We had designed this complex of buildings to be very low impact as low lying structures that are set back into the island vegetation.

The Beach Club has been a huge success and has resonated well with visitors who appreciate a more sophisticated space – an architecture that celebrates the site rather than itself.
